Technology in the English classroom:
Google forms and liveworksheet.
Nowadays, information and communication technology (ICT) has become
widespread sources of many aspects of life. Therefore, people need to handle
them as part of different daily activities such as internet browsing, media
entertainment, business projects, and so on. However, ICT has influenced the
educational context as well. Although, We may struggle with some doubts when We think
of how could We approach it for language teaching? What is the practical
pedagogical application? How could We apply it properly in the English classroom?
Consequently, in the last few years
ago, I was trying to find out learning strategies and consider setting them out
in my English teaching. Besides, I focused on studying some technologies such
as Google forms and which of their features are language assessment-related?
After all, I could use online forms as metacognitive instruments for student’s
reflection on learning goals in the classroom. The way I carry this out by
logging in with my google account to monitor the learning progress effectively
wherever I am from my electronic devices. This fact allows us to realize
students' difficulties and take into account new strategies that may support the
students to handle them for the next classes. Google forms

Furthermore, a few months ago, I discovered
a powerful web app where a teacher may create a digital worksheet and look for
many of them that were to this web uploaded by other online user teachers.
Nevertheless, I learned how to make my own.
First, we need to upload an English-worksheet in MSWord format file to
the web service. Usually, whatever you may use in class, then, within this
website, you will find a tool to convert the English-worksheet file into an
interactive online worksheet easily in some minutes. Being possible to make
interactive activities in English such as "match the pair, fill in the
blank, exercise to listen, etc." and integrate them to a website as a
"blogspot.com."

Wherefore, I would like to share all
of these ideas with you to improve it and discuss a proper way to apply
it in language teaching practice as well as to approach it as transversal
learning in a local public school. E.g.
In conclusion, I think ICT might
contribute to improving language-learning quality if we as a language teacher
research on professional use and its practical application in the English
classroom. Thus, that is what I would approach if I
take part in the Champion teacher program.
